"All I Ever Wanted"

I brought a Kelly Clarkson CD yesterday. I just listened to Ray's (from My Chemical Romance) audio blog saying that they were working on the new record and it would be out soon, and all I could think was it better otherwise I might need to buy another, and it will be all their fault. And I'll buy that one while wearing an MCR shirt too!

Have to congratulate Gerard though. He's a father now, apparently it was a raccoon.

Shit happens

As I haven't posted recently I thought I would.

Sadly, I have nothing to say. Which would explain why I haven't posted. If I ever have people who actually read this I'll take updates much more seriously, but until then I do what I want.

On all of the sites I go to on a regular basis I always read how people get pissed off by lack of updates. I get the feeling too. I randomly come to the conclusion that the free entertainment provided by the blogger or cartoonist or whatever absolutely must appear everyday at about the same time, or at least everyday. Randy Milholland, who draws Something Positive, recently put a notice in his blog about some guy (named Patrick H.) who got insulted by one of his strips and declared that he was leaving forever, because you know how much one random person leaving the Something Positive reader community will irrevocably destroy the entire site.

I bring this up because the MCR guys haven't been updating, which they claim on twitter is because they are working on their new album and/or celebrating Mr. G's birthday and/or... watching Ghostbusters? I can't keep track.

Speaking of music, I need a new CD. The most recent one I got was Folie à Deux and I've been cycling through having all the songs getting stuck in my head. Currently it's Headfirst Slide Into Cooperstown On A Bad Bet... really what are they on when they come up with these names??? Getting another CD may not save me but it could help.

Enough of this. I have another five Pathfinder characters to create by tomorrow morning.

Twittering Against Dragons

I've found that I really enjoy Twitter. I started using it about a week before I started blogging and I only follow famous people, but that only because I don't give a damn about normal people. I started by following the members of MCR, then Wil Wheaton, then Adam Savage... I get random entertaining comments all day. It's something to do.

Today I pressed the "everyone" button (I want everything! wua ha ha ha!) and found the band I Fight Dragons. They aren't that bad and they are obsessed with Nintendo products. They even a a niffy 8-bit game on their Myspace page where you get to slay dragons. It actually gets quite hard after awhile. I totally plan on buying one of their shirts once I have a little less anti-money cause a shirt that says "I Fight Dragons" is just awesome.

Other than that I actually went to work today, which was a bit more exhausting than I had thought it would be. On the plus side when I signed out I realized it had been a full month since the last time I worked. What was the chance of that!

Now pray for a bit as I have to work tomorrow and go to my friend's show and do all of the work I missed over my trips and illness.
